The new Lloyd’s Register Group Southampton GTC can be accessed from Bassett Crescent East which is situated off of the A35 (Burgess Road) which runs east to west across the city or the A33 (Bassett Avenue) which runs south to north, where it meets the M3 at junction 14.

The interim site, Grosvenor square, is in a more central location and can be accessed off of the Cumberland Place (A3024) and Bedford Place both of which interlink with the inner city ring road infrastructure.

In addition to the on site parking both Grosvenor Square and Bedford Place Car Parks are in close proximity and offer around 800 spaces between them.

Roads (general)

The UK’s road system consists of motorways (M1, M2, etc), main A roads, lesser B roads and a network of rural and suburban roads. In general they are well maintained, clearly signed and easy to use. Apart from a small number of toll roads and bridges, their use is free. Some routes, however, can get very congested, particularly around the major towns and cities at commuting times and along the motorways during holiday periods. Allow plenty of time for your journey.

Please note the UK is one of only a limited number of countries in the world where we drive on the left.
